Worship Arts Director

Jon Steele works part-time as Bethel’s Worship Arts Director. His primary focus in this role is to develop a healthy, vibrant worship culture and a skilled music and tech team to lead the way. Jon started this position in the fall of 2016 and has been attending Bethel with his wife, Kaitlynn, since 2010. When Jon isn’t up front crooning, he’s working as a full-time campus minister with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Minnesota State University, Mankato. He began his ministry career in 2012 after attending MSU-Mankato as a graduate student in Clinical Psychology. Jon’s hobbies include reading, video games, and strummin’ on his old banjo. He also promises to love you forever if you bring him pizza and Dr. Pepper. Jon holds a M.A. in clinical psychology from MSU-Mankato, a B.S. in Psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana (the motherland) and spent three years teaching in MSU’s Psychology Department.
