Senior Adults



 

                            
Our Senior Adults are a very important group here at Bethel Baptist Church.    We encourage fellowship and growing together in some different activities. Check out the ones below and become involved!
 
 

Senior Adult Lunch is usually held the third Wednesday of every month here at Bethel at 12:00 noon. The next Senior Lunch is March 21st.  A $2.00 donation is requested to help cover the costs of the meal. We encourage you to come and bring a friend and enjoy a good home-cooked meal and great fellowship. Look for the sign-up sheet on the visitors table or call the church office at 507-345-4011. 

Men's Bible Study meets Mondays at 9:00 a.m. to study the Bible.

Women's Bible Study has finished meeting for the winter months. They will resume in the spring.  

Senior Adult Game Day

Saturday, February 25th from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. we will be playing board games in the Ravine Room. Bring your favorite game or play one of ours. Pleae bring a snack to share.

 

Earn An Extra $150-$200 Per Month Tax-Free!

Become a Senior Companion Volunteer in the Mankato/Amboy area by making friendly visits to older adults in need. Senior Companions must be 55 years of age or older; service of 15 hours or more a week earns a small hourly tax-free stipend, plus receive travel reimbursement.         (Definitions: “Prime Timers” are the people the MIBC has always planned events for. They are those retired adults who are active but have mild to more serious limitations. “Route 66” is a new program designed for the more active retiree. The planned events for this group center around service, education, and recreation.)
