Winter Youth Activities



 
  

Xplode!

is when the students have an activity out in the community where they can share their love of Jesus Christ while having fun.

iMPLODE!

is where the students have a snack then break up into small groups to study the Word of God.

Hiking

We will be going hiking instead of sledding since there is no snow! Make sure that you dress warm and wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots. And bring a friend!! Junior High will hike on the 8th and the Seniors will on the 22nd. 

MegaRally

March 4th is our next MegaRally date at Bethel Univeristy which will feature speaker Greg Speck and worship by Rapture Ruckus. Event will cost $6 at the door or $4 before Feb. 27th. We will meet at Bethel Baptsit at 3:00 p.m. and be bakc around 10:00 p.m. Remember to bring $$ for food on the way up. 

 

Go The Distance Dinner

On March 18th there will be a Go The Distance meal served by the youth. This will help with our mortgage payments. So make sure to get that date on your calendar.

 

Spring Blitz

Mark your calendars for this year's Spring Blitz: April 27-29, 2012 in Rochester, MN. The theme is "Connected" based on John 15:4. Our speaker is Nick Hall and our band is Finding Favour. Cost is $79 + $$ for food for 7 meals. We will leave at 3:15 p.m. from Bethel on Friday. Students must sign up and pay by April 11th. A $20 scholarship will be available for those who participate in a to-be-determined service project. Contact Harrison for more details. (Make checks payable to Trout Lake Camps.) Need Medical Release Froms & Conduct Pledge turned in by April 11th. Check out troutlake.com for more info.

 

Drivers, vehicles & chaperons for various youth events are always needed.
