David and Carol Jahnke have been on our special missionary support budget for over 20 years. They spent a number of years in Japan, planting churches with the Baptist General Conference. Now Dave is the Regional Director for Asia for Converge Worldwide (the new name for the BGC). He oversees nearly 50 missionaries in Asia and also works with national leadership in various countries. Dave is also currently helping to lead the entire office of International Ministries while a search is underway for a new Director.

Dave and Carol have 3 grown sons. They live in St. Paul, MN, but of course, do a lot of traveling to Asia and other places. Some of the places where Converge is working are Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Thailand, China, and Singapore.
